Sleepyhead Mattress Limited Warranty

Sleepyhead Mattresses are warrantied against any manufacturing defect for a period of 10 years (Sleepyhead Sense and Sleepyhead Original) or 7 Years (Sleepyhead Flip) from the date of purchase. In case of any manufacturing defect (specified below) within 1 year of purchase, the mattress will be repaired or replaced with an identical product. In case of any manufacturing defect after the first year, either a repair or in case if a repair is not possible, a Prorated Credit Settlement will be applicable.

List of Manufacturing Defects

  1. Upon opening, the Roll-Packed mattress should come back to its specified dimensions within 48 hours, if it doesn’t come back to the exact dimension of the mattress, the product is defected. However, a + or – 15 mm variation in length, width and thickness is in the tolerance limit.
  2. Any sort of fabric damage found on opening the seal is considered to be a defective product.
  3. Any physical flaw in the mattress that causes the foam material to split or crack, despite normal usage and proper handling.
  4. Reduction of a thickness of greater than 1 inch will be considered as sagging and will be treated as a manufacturing defect.

Exclusions Of Manufacturing Defect

  1. Warranty will not be applicable on regular wear and tear of the cover and stitching.
  2. Sleepyhead mattress is designed to be used on a firm solid surface, any defect found due to improper support for the mattress is not be covered under warranty.
  3. Any improper usage.
  4. Any sort of fabric/zip /mattress damage caused while opening the seal of the mattress is not covered under the warranty
  5. Firmness or comfort preferences of the product are not considered a defect.
  6. Any visible and lasting indentation (body impression) lesser than 1 inch of the total height of the mattress (not associated from a sag in the bed base or cot) is not covered under warranty.
  7. Any damage caused due to liquid spillage is not covered under the warranty.
  8. Mold, dirt or smell resulting from poor mattress care.
  9. Exposure to cold/hot temperatures for a period of time that causes the materials to tear or permanently deform.

Terms & Conditions Of Warranty

  1. Warranty on the mattress will be available only in case of product failure due to a manufacturing defect.
  2. Mattresses have to be unboxed and used within 30 days from the date of delivery else warranty & 100 nights trial are not applicable.
  3. Product failure is limited to sagging of the core of the mattress.
  4. Warranty will be available only under the proper use of the product.
  5. Warranty is not applicable on any claim made other than for the benefit of the original purchaser.
  6. If you purchase a mattress and only the cover is defective (and not the mattress), we will only replace the cover and not the whole mattress.
  7. Warranty is valid only if the product is purchased from an authorized source.
  8. Please retain a copy of your purchase invoice as proof of purchase. You’ll need to submit this to make a claim, without which, Duroflex Limited
  9. Sleepyhead reserves the right to reject any claim under this warranty.
  10. We require you to supply photographs of the entire sleeping surface of the mattress and any visible faults. Failure to send photographs of the defect may result in a replacement being delayed or the mattress not being replaced.
  11. Warranty claims will be inspected and picked up within 7 days of raising a return request.
  12. If the claim has been verified, Sleepyhead will either repair or if a repair is not possible, give a Prorated Credit Settlement. The return shipping charges have to be borne by the customer.
  13. Returns will be accepted only if the product fulfills the Return Criteria (Refer to Return Criteria under Return Policy)
  14. All genuine claims will be settled within 15 working days of warranty claim receipt.
  15. Any repair or replacement will not extend the original period of limited warranty, nor will it constitute the beginning of a new limited warranty period.
  16. Prorated Credit Settlements will be made in the form of credit vouchers which can be availed for the purchase of Sleepyhead mattress only through https://mysleepyhead.com/
  17. The final decision on the warranty will be made by Duroflex Limited / Sleepyhead. Company reserves the complete right to refuse any warranty claim if it doesn’t fulfil the Warranty Terms and Conditions.
  18. Disputes, if any, will be subject to Bangalore jurisdiction only.

Sleepyhead Solid wood products - Beds

To avail warranty: Warranty registration is Mandatory within 10 days of purchase. Absence of Warranty Number will not be applicable for claims.

The product needs to be examined at the time of delivery/ assembly. If the product/part is found defective/ damaged upon arrival or during assembly, please notify the Sleepyhead customer service immediately via e-mail or call. The alleged issues shall be considered null and void if not reported within (10) days of the delivery/ installation date. No claims in this regard can be taken after expiry of 10 days.

Upon receipt of such complaint, Sleepyhead reserves the right to replace the concerned part or whole product as per the nature of defect/ damage. Sleepyhead shall have sole discretion either to replace, refund or provide a cash back. The said discretion shall be used from case-to-case basis.

If damage covered under the warranty policy appears during the use of the product, Sleepyhead shall, in sole discretion, repair or replace only the damaged part of the product, if serviceable or provide full or partial replacement.

Sleepyhead reserves the right to request images or videos for proof of claim; this may include close-up photos of the damage.

Any manufacturing defect that may occur while the product is under the warranty period shall be informed to the Sleepyhead customer service immediately with supporting documentation such as the proof of purchase, warranty registration and images documenting the alleged defect.

If a claim is made for a product under its warranty period, Sleepyhead reserves the right to request additional images for verification, including but not restricted to close-up photos of the alleged defect, full room shots showing the complete area where the product is in use. Upon request, the customer must comply with providing additional photos and making the product available to a Sleepyhead representative for an onsite inspection. In addition to the same, Sleepyhead shall also have liberty to seek more information in the said matter. The replacements/ repairs if any may take upto 15-30 days post-receipt of the requested documents.

Replacement/ exchange is subject to availability. In case of unavailability of an identical replacement to the claimed product, Sleepyhead reserves the right to offer another product in the category with a similar price or any other manner which Sleepyhead shall have right as deem fit (as the warranted product).

Sleepyhead deserves the right to replace the defective product claimed under warranty with a product with the colour/ finish of similar quality, grade and composition in situations where an identical colour/ finish is unavailable.

What the warranty covers

  • Sleepyhead offers a 3-year warranty period that covers any termite or borer damage that appears on the product.
  • Sleepyhead offers a 1-year warranty period that covers manufacturing defects on wooden structure.

What the warranty does not cover

  • Any glass/ mirror, foam, fabric/upholstery that may be a part of the solid wood furniture does not fall under this warranty if not reported within (10) days of the receipt of delivery/ installation.
  • Any perceived damage or misalignments that may occur due to the regular intended use of the product may be considered natural wear and tear and shall not be covered.
  • Any gaps or glue lines that may occur due to the expansion of the natural material due to environmental factors are common when a natural material such as solid wood is exposed to climatic changes and shall not be covered.
  • Solid wood is a natural material that will, in its true nature, have colour variations, grain variations, knots etc. which are inherent to the material and will not be covered under warranty.
  • The wood finish/ fabric & upholstery colour can have minor differences when viewed on-screen compared to the actual product. The images available on the website are photographed/ created in a controlled lighting environment and may not be compared to a residential lighting setup. Moreover, the difference in screen calibrations and resolutions across different displays shall affect the perceived colour/finish. Therefore, the warranty shall not cover any slight mismatch between the displayed image colour/ finish and the actual product colour/ finish.
  • Dimensional tolerances of up to ±20 mm for upholstered products and up to ±10 mm for non-upholstered products are acceptable and will not be covered under warranty.
  • Any damages that shall occur due to the use of the product in a manner that is not intended in the natural course of use shall not be covered. Any damage caused by mishandling the product, while usage, movement, transportation etc., will not be covered under warranty.
  • Any damage that may be caused by using an external cleaning agent that is not advised in the product's care instructions will not be covered.
  • The warranty is valid only for the invoiced customer at the first installation location.
  • The warranty is invalid if the product is assembled, altered or modified by the customer or any third-party agency.
  • The foregoing warranty shall not be treated as a rolling/continuing warranty, and the products exchanged shall be covered for the remainder of the original warranty period.
  • The warranty does not cover any damage from improper storage, poor maintenance, water/ moisture damage or discoloration due to prolonged exposure to sunlight.
  • Sleepyhead warranty liability is limited to the purchase price of the defective product claimed under warranty. Sleepyhead shall under no circumstances in any manner whatsoever be held liable for any indirect damage/s, costs, expenses, or financial loss suffered by you or a third party.
    Notwithstanding mentioned in the agreement, any mismanagement or malpractice or any non-following of instructions laid on instruction’s manual, customer shall not be entitled to seek for any claims arising in the said manner whatsoever.

Note

This warranty policy shall be effective from the 8th of August 2024 and supersedes any and all previous policy/ies, whether written or oral.

Care Instruction

  1. Dust the furniture regularly.Wipe the wooden surface with a clean microfiber cloth damped in a wood-friendly cleanser. Immediately wipe the moisture with a dry, soft, and lint-free cloth.
  2. In case of a spill, blot the stain with a clean, dry cloth in a gentle manner. Please make sure you do not use coarse material or rub the spot briskly.Over time, exposure to air and sunlight may change the colour of wood & fabric.
  3. To prevent fading, avoid placing the product in direct sunlight.Keep sharp objects away from your furniture to avoid cuts and scratches.Avoid chemical and alcohol contact with the furniture as it might harm the natural finish and durability of the product.Ensure that the furniture does not have any exposure to moisture and water or heat sources like HVAC vents or radiators.
  4. Get your furniture cleaned professionally every 6- 8 months to take care of the corners and sides you cannot reach. Such professional cleaning leads to a longer life and durability of the product.Wood may expand or contract with seasonal changes and changes in humidity. Maintaining consistent levels of humidity will minimize movement in the wood and prevent warping.
  5. Avoid dropping heavy materials directly on the surface of the furniture.Do not drag the furniture to relocate it, as this might weaken the joints. Instead, lift the wooden furniture if you want to move it.

10 Days Replacement Only

Furniture products is covered under 10 days replacement policy (date of delivery will be considered as start date). Following are list of issues, which are covered under this policy -

  1. Any Wobbling or creaking noise on a sofa / bed/recliner.
  2. Damage to the structural part like S-spring legs used in seat of recliner / Sofa.
  3. Nonfunctioning of Mechanism in a recliner or recliner not opening to 100% when activated.
  4. Fabric complaints like opening of stitch, loose upholstery, comfort issue, color bleeding, torn fabric & bottom non-woven cloth, pilling of fabric & fabric stains.
  5. Any aesthetic/dimensional/alignment/hardware loose enquires.
  6. Any missing part / components.

In case of any issues during these 10 days window, please notify the customer service immediately via e-mail or call with supporting documentation such as the proof of purchase, invoice copy and images / Video documenting the alleged defect.

The alleged issues will be considered null and void if not reported within (10) days of the delivery/ installation date.

Upon receipt of such complaint, Sleepyhead reserves the right to replace the concerned part or whole product as per the nature of defect/ damage.

Replacement/ exchange is subject to availability. In case of unavailability of an identical replacement to the claimed product, Sleepyhead reserves the right to offer another product in the category with a similar price (as the warranted product).

Sleepyhead Furniture Limited Warranty – Coffee Table, Bedside Tables, Shoe Racks & Book Shelves

Covered in Warranty

  1. Only manufacturing defects - malfunction of moveable parts like hinges & sliders are covered.
  2. Valid only in the territory of India and shall be extended only to the first end customer only.

The warranty does NOT cover the following

  1. Any physical damage reported post 24 hours from the date of delivery/ installation of the product.
  2. Manufacturing warranty does not cover damages resulting from wear & tear in the natural course of product usage, inadequate maintenance, wrong handling, improper movements, pest infection, moisture and water seepage, exposure to sunlight, rusting due to improper maintenance, misuse, abuse, neglect, or accident of the product and/or improper installation of the product by the customer.
  3. Warranty shall also not cover furniture products moved from one residential location to another by the customer. Furniture products moved to an unserviceable pin code, any modifications or alterations made to the products post-purchase, or not following the product care instructions. The company shall not be held responsible in any manner whatsoever.

Disclaimer

  1. Warranty shall be non-transferable.
  2. Warranty shall be valid only when the Order ID is presented at the time of service.
  3. The colour of the product may vary slightly compared to the picture displayed on your screen. This is due to lighting, pixel quality and colour settings.
  4. Measure your entrance (s), doorway(s) and the product(s) dimensions to ensure the product will fit in the preferred space.
  5. Please expect an unevenness of up to 5 mm in the product due to differences in surfaces and floor levels.
  6. Sleepyhead or Service Partner delivering the product will not take up any type of civil work, such as drilling holes in the wall to mount the product.
  7. If the product lacks shine, wiping the surface with a cloth shall help clear the surface of dust particles.
  8. The manufacturer reserves the right to assess the defect and accordingly offer repair or replacement with an equivalent product.
  9. Any warranty claim must be accompanied by photos of the alleged defect, including close-up images of affected areas.
  10. Glue lines or other issues related to the natural characteristics of wood are not defects.
  11. MDF boards are not covered under warranty.
  12. Solid wood will expand and contract throughout the year and acclimatise to its surroundings. Hairline cracks in the grooves or slight movements in panels or joints are quite normal. Issues related to the natural characteristics of wood are not defects and not covered under warranty.
  13. Please keep the item in its original condition, original packaging, with the user manual, warranty cards, and original accessories in manufacturer packaging for a successful return pick-up.

Sleepyhead Upholstered products - Sofa & Recliners

To avail warranty: Warranty registration is Mandatory within 10 days of purchase. Absence of Warranty Number will not be applicable for claims.

Upholstered products contain foam, poly fibres, foam chips and other like materials which may be compressed in packing and transit, please allow a few hours after the product is unboxed for them to return to their original form. Kindly fluff your backrest and seat to give them the desired shape in case of compression deformity.

The product needs to be examined at the time of delivery/ assembly for its aesthetic & functional aspects. If the product/part is found defective/ damaged upon arrival or during assembly, please notify the Sleepyhead customer service immediately via e-mail or call. The alleged issues will be considered null and void if not reported within (10) days of the delivery/ installation date.

Upon receipt of such complaint, Sleepyhead reserves the right to replace the concerned part or whole product as per the nature of defect/ damage. Sleepyhead shall have sole discretion either to replace, refund or provide a cash back. The said discretion shall be used from case-to-case basis.

Sleepyhead deserves the right to replace the defective product claimed under warranty with a product with the colour/ finish of similar quality, grade and composition in situations where an identical colour/ finish is unavailable.

What the warranty covers

Frame Warranty:

The limited warranty of a period of ‘3’ years covers any manufacturing defects that may occur to the structure/ frame of the product while the product is being used under normal intended use for which the product has been designed. This warranty does not cover any other defects that may occur on the product's fabric or foam/ filling.

Foam Warranty:

The limited warranty of a period of ‘3’ years covers any sagging or resilience-related defects that may occur to the foam filling of the seat while the product is being used under normal intended use for which the product has been designed. This warranty does not cover any other defects that may occur on the product's fabric or structure/frame.

Electrical Components Warranty:

The limited warranty of a period of ‘1’ year covers any manufacturing defects that may occur to the electrical components like actuator, switches & power adaptor while the product is being used under normal intended use for which the product has been designed.

Mechanism Warranty:

The limited warranty of a period of ‘3’ years covers any manufacturing defects in Mechanism (manual, RRR & Electric / Motorised) used in recliners.

What the warranty does not cover

  • Any perceived damage that may occur due to the regular intended use of the product may be considered natural wear and tear and will not be covered.
  • Any gaps or glue lines that may occur due to the expansion of the natural material due to environmental factors are common when a natural material such as solid wood is exposed to climatic changes and will not be covered.

  • Opening of recliner to lounge position or reclining position in 100% smooth opening depends on the lubrication of all moving parts. Claims on non-opening of recliners due to lack of lubrication will not covered under warranty.
  • Physical damage to electrical / electronic parts is not covered under warranty under warranty. Damage to electrical components from power surge is not covered under warranty.
  • Dimensional tolerances of up to ±20 mm for upholstered products and up to ±5 mm for non-upholstered products are acceptable and will not be covered under warranty.
  • Any damages that may occur due to the use of the product in a manner that is not intended in the natural course of use will not be covered.

For warranty claims arising from sagging of foam, products within 1 year of invoice date shall be replaced free of charge & products falling in 2 & 3 rd year from invoice date shall be eligible for refund on a prorated basis provided the claim is approved by Sleepyhead team.

Sleepyhead Memory Foam Pillow Limited Warranty

Sleepyhead Memory Foam Pillows are warrantied against any manufacturing defect for 1 year. In case of any manufacturing defect (specified below) within 1 year of purchase, the memory foam pillow will be repaired or replaced with an identical product.

List of Manufacturing Defects

  1. - Upon opening, the Roll-Packed memory foam pillow should come back to its specified dimensions within 24 hours. If it doesn’t come back to the exact dimension of the pillow, the product is defective. However, a + or – 15 mm variation in length, width and thickness is in the tolerance limit.
  2. Any sort of fabric damage found on opening the seal is considered to be a defective product.
  3. Any physical flaw in the memory foam pillow causes the foam material to split or crack, despite normal usage and proper handling.
  4. Reduction of a thickness of greater than 1 inch will be considered as sagging and will be treated as a manufacturing defect

Exclusions Of Manufacturing Defects

  1. Outer Cover of the Pillow
  2. Flattening of the pillow over time, Memory foam pillows are expected to lose height over a period of 1 year

  8. Any visible and lasting indentation (body impression) lesser than 1 inch of the total height of the pillow (not associated with a sag in the bed base) is not covered under warranty.
  9. Any damage caused due to liquid spillage is not covered under warranty.
  10. Mould, dirt or smells resulting from poor pillow care.
  11. Exposure to cold/hot temperatures for some time causes the materials to tear or permanently deform.
  12. Stain due to spillage or any other improper usage

  1. Warranty on the pillow will be available only in case of product failure due to a manufacturing defect.
  2. Product failure is limited to the sagging of the memory foam pillow.
  3. Warranty will be available only under the proper use of the product.
  4. Warranty is not applicable on any claim made other than for the benefit of the original purchaser.
  5. Warranty is valid only if the product is purchased from a third party.
  6. Please retain a copy of your purchase invoice as proof of purchase. You’ll need to submit this to make a claim, without which Duroflex Limited/ Sleepyhead reserves the right to reject any claim under this warranty.
  7. We require you to supply photographs of the entire sleeping surface of the pillow and any visible faults. Failure to send photographs of the defect may result in a replacement being delayed or the pillow not being replaced.
  8. Warranty claims will be inspected and picked up within 7 days of raising a return request.
  9. If the claim has been verified, Sleepyhead will either repair or give a Prorated Credit Settlement if a repair is not possible. Returns will be accepted only if the product fulfills the Return Criteria (Refer to Return Criteria under Return Policy)
  10. All genuine claims will be settled within 15 working days of warranty claim receipt.
  11. Any repair or replacement will not extend the original period of the limited warranty, nor will it constitute the beginning of a new limited warranty period.
  12. The final decision on the warranty will be made by Duroflex Limited / Sleepyhead. The company reserves the complete right to refuse any warranty claim if it doesn’t fulfill the Warranty Terms and Conditions.
  13. Disputes, if any, will be subject to Bangalore jurisdiction only.

Sleepyhead Travel Pillows Limited Warranty

Sleepyhead Travel Pillows are warrantied against any manufacturing defect for 6 months. In case of any manufacturing defect (specified below) within 6 months of purchase, the travel pillow will be repaired or replaced with an identical product.

  1. Upon opening the travel pillow, any sort of mould found on opening the seal is considered to be a defective product.
  2. Any physical flaw like unusual sagging in the travel pillow causes the foam material to split or crack, despite normal usage and proper handling.
  3. Reduction of a thickness of greater than 1 inch will be considered as sagging and will be treated as a manufacturing defect.
